Goals & progress
What this page covers
Section titled “What this page covers”Two related tools:
| Tool | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Goals | Track outcomes beyond today’s check-in (sport, school, personal, training) |
| Progress | See trends from check-ins over 7 / 30 / 90 days |
Goals can work before you join a team. Progress trends unlock more fully after you’re on a team and checking in.
When to use goals
Section titled “When to use goals”Use a goal when you can answer: “How will I know this is done?” Examples:
- Make 50 free throws three times this week (sport)
- Finish homework before evening practice (academic)
- Apologize and reset after a bad teammate moment (personal)
- Complete two recovery sessions this week (training)
Create a goal — step by step
Section titled “Create a goal — step by step”- Open Goals in AthleteIQ.
- Create a new goal.
- Pick a category: sport, academic, personal, or training.
- Write a clear outcome (specific enough that you’ll recognize “done”).
- Save.
- Update progress percentage as you work toward it.
- When finished, mark it achieved (or keep it active until you’re ready).
Organize your list
Section titled “Organize your list”Filter the list when it gets long:
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| Active | Goals you’re still working |
| Achieved | Finished goals |
| All | Everything |

How to review Progress (a simple weekly routine)
Section titled “How to review Progress (a simple weekly routine)”- Open Progress.
- Set the range to 7 days mid-season, or 30 days when you want a bigger picture.
- Ask: Is my streak alive? Which pillar dipped?
- Open one low day in history — what was going on that day?
- Pick one response: a micro-challenge, a lesson, a talk with your coach, or adjust a goal.

How to read trends without overthinking
Section titled “How to read trends without overthinking”- One low day is normal. Look at the week.
- A rising streak with a flat score still means the habit is forming — that is progress.
- If one pillar stays low for several days, don’t ignore it — use a lesson, challenge, or conversation.
- Compare yourself to your last month, not to a teammate’s number.

Section titled “Who else can see this”| Person | What they can see |
